Marketing Manager, Pro, Installation & Tools

Reports to Senior Manager, Marketing, Planning & Integration

The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Planning & Integration, you will be responsible for:

Managing and developing the strategic planning, resource allocation and marketing direction & plans for Home Depot’s Pro, Installation Services and Tool Rental business

Integration of plans across marketing, advertising merchandising, and operations to ensure effective implementation and adherence to strategy

Developing  annual and season specific marketing direction, strategies and plans for Pro, Installation Services and Tool Rental businesses

Contributing to corporate annual and season specific marketing plans and direction

Managing Contractor Plus (Pro loyalty program) through development of marketing strategies, programs and opportunities to build relationships with key contractor customers

Liaising between advertising, merchandising, operations and other internal and external partners to ensure proper implementation of strategies and programs

Reviewing relevant marketing opportunities from external clients, which includes evaluating and providing recommendations to Senior Manager, Marketing

Ensuring resource allocations, strategies and programs implemented adhere to upfront plans and track to budget allocations

Leading additional projects for marketing team as required

Liaising with US counterparts to ensure effective integration and use of resources

Incorporating consumer research and metrics into upfront planning

Developing succinct, professional marketing briefs for all projects & lead cross functional partners in the implementation of marketing plans

Delivering marketing ROI measures for the businesses

Managing any direct core and over & above budgets for the portfolio

Building and maintain close working relationships with key business/marketing partners to understand and influencing business & marketing strategies, priorities and direction ensuring business objectives

Experience

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of delivering results and executing with excellence. Specifically they will have:

5+ years of progressively senior experience in marketing, ideally retail

Demonstrated success with Loyalty and Direct Marketing initiatives

Strong analytical ability, problem solving, decision making and influencing skills

High degree of business acumen and business maturity

Exposure to a broad range of marketing functions and proficient project management skills

Excellent consensus building skills, high degree of motivation and adaptability and desire to collaborate with others to build and maintain relationships

Deadline mentality with the ability to work within a dynamic environment and balance for multiple priorities

Experience in working with cross functional teams, positive attitude and a strong EQ

Above average communication skills both written and verbal

A university degree in related discipline is preferred; Bilingualism is an asset
